Electronic Payments & Offerings Now Accepted
The Finance Office at the Diocese of Algoma is here to support parishes in the ministry they do. We know that administration and monthly payments can sometimes feel like a burden, but your faithful stewardship makes ministry across Algoma possible. That’s why we’re working to make things simpler and more efficient for treasurers and incumbents.
New Payment Option: E-Transfers
Parishes can now send monthly invoice payments by e-transfer — a quick, secure, and convenient way to stay up to date.
Send e-transfers to: payments@dioceseofalgoma.com
When sending your payment, please include your parish number and the account where the payment should be applied in the memo line.
Examples:
- 1051A – Apportionment
- 1051S – Stipend
- 1051L – Archbishop Wright Building Fund
- 1051M – Moving Loan
If you are submitting one payment to cover multiple accounts, please include the breakdown in the memo field or send a separate email to the Finance Office so your payment can be allocated correctly.
Donations & Offerings
In light of the ongoing Canada Post strike, parishioners and friends are also encouraged to consider giving electronically:
- CanadaHelps: Most Algoma parishes are set up on CanadaHelps, which provides a secure way to give to your parish.
- Anne Germond Legacy Fund: Donations to support episcopal ministry and leadership for future generations can be made directly at 👉 anneslegacyfund.ca/donate.
- Direct E-Transfer: donations can also be sent directly to payments@dioceseofalgoma.com. Please indicate in the memo line where the gift should be directed:
- Donation – Anne Germond Legacy Fund
- Donation – [Name of Parish]
