A Bible-Based Healing Group in North Bay
A new opportunity for healing and restoration is being offered this spring in the Deanery of Temiskaming.
“Caring for the Wounded Heart” is a small-group, Bible-based trauma healing program designed to support individuals who are carrying wounds from loss, grief, or difficult life experiences. This marks the third time the program has been offered in person in the region, reflecting both its impact and ongoing need.
What to Expect
· A safe, confidential small-group setting
· Guided reflection on trauma, loss, and healing
· Integration of biblical teaching and mental health best practices
· Facilitators trained through the Trauma Healing Institute
· A supportive environment focused on restoration and hope

In addition to this in-person offering, participants across the Diocese may also access similar programs online through the Trauma Healing Institute and the Canadian Bible Society. There are also early conversations about a future online group for Algoma participants, expanding access to this important ministry.
