Archbishop Anne Germond is saddened to announce that Archdeacon Mark Conliffe (Thunder Bay) died in the early morning of February 2nd, 2019 at Health Sciences Centre in Thunder Bay surrounded by his family.

New Diocesan representative – Anglican Fellowship of Prayer
Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Carol Knox as Diocesan representative to the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer effective immediately.

We have a new deacon in the church! The Rev. Lana Grawbarger is a descendant of Chief Shingwauk and has been doing the ministry of a deacon in Garden River for many years.

We are saddened to announce that the Venerable Mark Conliffe (Thunder Bay) is in failing health and under the care of a palliative care team in hospital.
Archbishop announces installation of Canons
Archbishop Anne Germond is pleased to announce that five new Canons of St. Luke’s Cathedral will be installed at the opening service of Diocesan Synod 2019 on May 8th. These five individuals have contributed to the life and ministry of our Diocese over several years and the Archbishop is thankful that she is able to honour them in this way.
