Two Algoma Ministries Receive Anglican Foundation of Canada Support
The Anglican Foundation of Canada has announced funding for two community-focused initiatives in the Diocese of Algoma as part of its Q1 2026 grants cycle.
In Thunder Bay, the Gathering Table received $5,000 to launch Dinner Church, an extension of its established Food Cupboard Ministry. The program will offer shared meals alongside live music, reflection, and testimony—creating space for both nourishment and relationship-building in the downtown community.
In Sault Ste. Marie, Holy Trinity Anglican Church received $10,000 to support Trinity Tower Worship, a ministry bringing accessible liturgy, music, and pastoral presence directly into a nearby apartment building, meeting residents where they are.
These projects are part of AFC’s $175,500 Q1 2026 grants cycle, made possible through the faithful generosity of AFC members across Canada. Read more: https://www.anglicanfoundation.org/q1-2026-grant-awards/
