Archbishop announces upcoming ordination
Archbishop Anne is pleased to announce that, God-willing, on the Feast of Timothy and Titus – January 26th 2019, Ms. Lana Grawbarger will be ordained to the sacred order of vocational deacons in Christ’s church.

The Diocese of Algoma Synod Office will close for Christmas at noon on Friday, December 21st, 2018 and re-open in the New Year on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
Condolences to the Reinhardt family
We are saddened to announce that The Rev. Ted Reinhardt, a retired priest living in Elliot Lake, died peacefully on December 2, 2018 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elliot Lake at the age of 86.

November 11th – 100th anniversary
November 11, 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1. The Royal Canadian Legion, in partnership with the Government of Canada, invites all local churches, fire stations, police stations, town halls and others with bells to join in a nation-wide initiative to mark this event.
