The Diocese of Algoma has added a new online resource page to help parishes, community groups, and third-party facility users access information about Facility User Insurance coverage for events and activities held in parish spaces.
The Facility User Insurance Program helps provide General Liability coverage for approved activities and events taking place in diocesan facilities. This may include:
- community events
- concerts and performances
- classes and programs
- tournaments
- vendors and markets
- private rentals
The new webpage includes:
- an overview of the program,
- information about General Liability coverage,
- links to program documents,
- and direct access to the Instant Risk Coverage (IRC) online portal.
Users can obtain coverage online through the IRC portal and receive Certificates of Insurance electronically.
