Returning leadership, strong early interest, and five camp offerings set the stage for a vibrant 2026 season
As the Diocese looks ahead to summer, Camp Temiskaming is already well underway in preparing for another season of faith-filled adventure and community life.
Planning began as early as February, with organizers confirming a full slate of volunteers to lead this year’s camps. In a welcome sign of continuity and strength, the same experienced leadership team from last summer has returned—bringing with them the energy, care, and commitment that have become hallmarks of the Temiskaming camp experience.
Early outreach efforts are already bearing fruit. Targeted Facebook advertising campaigns have generated strong engagement across key demographics, helping to build momentum ahead of the summer season. While registration is open and filling steadily, there are still spaces available across all camps.
Preparation will move into high gear on May 23, when volunteers gather on-site for a community work day. This important day of service will focus on readying the camp’s shared spaces—including the kitchen, dining hall, and both camper and staff cabins—ensuring everything is in place to welcome campers in the weeks ahead.
