Alongside the renewed Coat of Arms, the Diocese is introducing a coordinated family of logos derived from the same heraldic foundation. These marks will provide a more consistent and recognizable presence across diocesan ministries, events, communications, and public-facing materials.

Seasons & Saints: For the Week of May 3rd

This liturgical reflection highlights the significance of the Ascension of the Lord as a principal feast of the Church and invites renewed commitment to observing holy days beyond Sunday. Drawing on the thought of Walter Brueggemann, it challenges the influence of dominant culture on worship practices. The note also marks the Holy Day of John the Apostle, offering insight into his role in the early Church and traditions surrounding his life.

Passages: April 23–25, 2026

The Diocese of Algoma mourns the loss of Stephen Daniel Tyczinski and Albert Robert LeBlanc, giving thanks for their lives of love, faith, and service. Stephen will be remembered for his deep connection to Christ Church Korah through his family, while Albert is honoured for his many years of faithful care at Emmaus Anglican Church. Both men are held in prayer, along with their families and parish communities, as we commend them to God’s eternal care.
